Through the face and presence, I seek to capture what lies beneath the surface: a gaze, a tension, a light. Each work is an attempt to capture the moment: a fragment of emotion suspended between realism and abstraction.

Le visage n’y est jamais un simple sujet, mais un lieu de présence, une invitation à ralentir et à se reconnecter à sa propre humanité.

The face is never merely a subject here, but a place of presence, a silent invitation to slow down and reconnect with one’s own humanity.

Né à Montpellier en 1984 et installé aujourd’hui à Albi, au cœur de l’Occitanie, je développe depuis plusieurs années une pratique artistique centrée sur le portrait et l’émotion. Le dessin et la peinture m’accompagnent depuis l’enfance et structurent désormais mon quotidien autour d’un travail exigeant, régulier, profondément engagé.

Born in Montpellier in 1984 and now based in Albi, in the heart of Occitanie, I have been developing an artistic practice centered on portraiture and emotion for several years. Drawing and painting have accompanied me since childhood and now structure my daily life around a demanding, regular, and deeply committed practice.

Depuis 2018, l’aquarelle occupe une place centrale dans mon travail pour sa capacité à révéler la lumière, la transparence et la fragilité de l’instant. Elle me permet de laisser une part d’inattendu, d’accueillir l’accident et la respiration du papier. J’explore également les encres, l’huile et l’acrylique lorsque le sujet l’exige, tout en conservant la même intention : capturer l’âme et l’éphémère.

Since 2018, watercolor has held a central place in my work for its ability to reveal light, transparency, and the fragility of the moment. It allows me to leave room for the unexpected, welcoming accidents and the breathing of the paper. I also explore inks, oils and acrylics when the subject demands it, while maintaining the same intention: to capture the soul and the ephemeral.

Peindre, c’est rendre visible ce qui ne se dit pas. To paint is to make visible what cannot be said.
